Bendix Business Automobile Programs has begun to assemble a 185,000-square-foot manufacturing facility at its operation in Acuna, Mexico. The plant will use automated manufacturing processes to supply two rising, next-generation applied sciences — international scalable brake management (GSBC) and international scalable air therapy (GSAT).
The ability, which joins three different manufacturing crops and a logistics heart on the Acuna campus, is the newest step within the ongoing growth of the operation. Preliminary occupancy is slated for November 2023.
GSBC and GSAT are designed to be tailored to buyer wants in numerous markets. The techniques’ capabilities and diagnostics allow the groundwork for automated driving. The corporate will rent an estimated 200 workers for the plant, bringing the Acuna workforce to roughly 2,000 individuals. The brand new traces will start manufacturing on a staggered, multiyear schedule commencing in 2023.
