Work has began on a £16m Porsche centre in Newport.
Commissioned by Dick Lovett, the official Porsche seller for South Wales, the facility would be the firm’s flagship Porsche centre and the biggest constructing thus far in its portfolio.
The spectacular 7000m2 curve-fronted area has been designed by Pier Structure and can characteristic a two-storey, glass-clad and porcelain-floored automotive showroom in addition to a complete and state-of-the-art workshop.
The showroom could have area for 48 vehicles and the workshop 23 vehicles.
Photo voltaic panels on the composite roof will support powering the constructing. EV chargers may even be fitted – each for patrons visiting the workshop and as a part of Porsche’s wider EV charging community.
