Basic Motors is without doubt one of the largest and most profitable auto producers globally. Based in 1908 by William Durant, the corporate started as a composition of a number of subsidiary vehicle entities, together with Buick, Cadillac, Oldsmobile, and Oakland, which was later rebranded to Pontiac. Durant bought thirty corporations through the first two years of Basic Motors' operation.
