Porsche had little expertise with front-engine, rear-wheel-drive automobiles once they launched the Porsche 924 in 1976. And it's secure to say Porsche had perfected it by the point the 968 made its look in 1995. Porsche changed it with the mid-engined Boxster, a configuration with which the German sports activities automotive producer had barely experimented.
