Pendragon chairman Ian Philby steps down

Pendragon chairman Ian Philby is stepping all the way down to pursue different pursuits.

Ian joined Pendragon as non-executive chairman on 01 November 2021. Along with his duties as non-executive chairman, serves on the Firm’s Remuneration Committee.

Philby joined Pendragon following a 40-year profession in retail, a big proportion of which was spent with Alliance Boots.

In his final govt function, Ian was the chief govt officer of furnishings retailer DFS,

The nomination committee, led by senior unbiased director Dietmar Exler, will begin searching for a successor.

Dietmar Exler, senior unbiased director, stated: “On behalf of the board, we thank Ian for his service to Pendragon and need him all the perfect for the long run.”

Filby stated: “I wish to take this chance to thank my fellow board members, the management staff and, most significantly, our associates for his or her dedication to the corporate and keenness for his or her work.

“I’m happy with the progress that has been made each strategically and financially by the management staff and the soundness that this has created. I want them each success sooner or later.”
