The corporate operates 13 tractors and 119 trailers and owns a 52-acre property in Wapakoneta, Ohio, the place it offers warehousing, bulk transloading and storage. The situation has indoor rail entry on the CSX Transportation rail line, with 70 railcar spots for transloading and storage.

“We’re enthusiastic about this subsequent step in our U.S. development,” mentioned Matt Faure, president and CEO at Trimac. “We stay up for connecting our most up-to-date acquisition of AIP Logistics with superior service with security. The combination with a number one logistics firm equivalent to AIP will place Trimac in a superb place for its continued development and contribution to enterprise companions and communities on this area.”

Trimac says AIP’s location on the I-75 hall is ideally located close to Fortune 500 shippers, together with many present Trimac prospects. AIP was based in 1982 by Charles Kantner, and was initially often called Riverside Storage.

In the present day, it presents greater than 450,000 sq.-ft. of cupboard space, along with the rail terminal and transport fleet. The enterprise consists of 38% trucking, 42% warehousing, and 20% transloading/different. Trimac says the deal is a part of its five-year development technique.
