Even when you do not repeatedly journey with the FMVSS118 take a look at metal ball, Volkswagen explains “a sunroof change that’s inadvertently pressed can lead to unintended auto-closure of the sunroof, rising the danger of harm.” Homeowners of affected vehicles will probably be notified beginning on September 23, 2022. They will be requested to convey their automobile into the closest licensed dealership to get the sunroof change changed freed from cost. The up to date half, which is offered by a third-party provider, is compliant with rules as a result of its capacitive parameters had been up to date.

Solely vehicles constructed through the 2022 model 12 months are a part of the marketing campaign. The 2023 fashions, which obtained a number of updates, aren’t in it.
